The Nova Scotia, Canada Government has successfully negotiated an increase of 300 immigration nominations for its two new express entry streams, nearly doubling the province’s total nomination allocation for 2015.

This decision will allow Nova Scotia to nominate 1,350 immigrants under the Provincial Nominee Program, nearly double the 2014 cap of 700.”

This immigration program is open to skilled workers in the opportunity occupations listed in the program.

If required, applicants may have to attend an in-person interview in Nova Scotia. They will be notified if such an interview is required.

They must show that they have sufficient amount of funds to successfully establish themselves and their families in Nova Scotia and to pay their immigration costs and travel expenses (if applicable) at the time of application to NSOI and your application for permanent residency to CIC (as well as at Express Entry profile submission stage).
